About College/University:
October 22, 2007 was a historical day for the Mahima Shiksha Samiti, the sponsoring body of  the Jaipur National University, and for the Seedling Institutions of Higher Education, when the Government of Rajasthan announced the establishment of the University. Within a couple  of months, after its formation, the University was honoured with approval and recognition from all the national bodies, including the University Grants Commission (UGC), under the clause 2(f) of its Act of 1956. Besides these mandatory recognitions, the University has earned trust and goodwill of the aspiring students, parents, public and concerned agencies,  based on excellence in teaching and emphasis on high standard of research.

Admissions 2009 In MTech (Engineering Education) At NITTTR, Chandigarh


National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh - Admissions 2009 In MTech (Engineering Education)

Eligibility Criteria:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from a recognized University or its equivalent OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and post qualification experience of atleast 2 years (3 years in case of AMIE/IETE after diploma) in teaching/industry/research organization.

How to apply:
Applications must accompany a demand draft of Rs. 500/-) from the Institute either on payment of Rs. 500/- or by sending a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- in favour of Director, NITTTR, Chandigarh along with a self addressed envelope of 25×20 cms. Separate application is to be submitted along with fee for each programme.

About College/University:
National Institute Of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (Formerly TTTI), Chandigarh  is one of the four institutes established by the Government of India in 1967 for the development of technical education in the country with focus on the states of the Northern Region. The institute had the collaboration of the Royal Netherlands Government for a period of seven years in the initial stage. The institute is an autonomous organisation registered  under the Societies Registration Act 1860. It is managed by a Board of Governors. Director is the executive head of the institute. The institute is situated in a well developed  campus in Sector 26, Chandigarh covering an area of over 6.667 hectares. The institute has also residential campuses in Sector 26, 29 and 42. The institute is about 5km from Chandigarh Railway Station as well as Inter State Bus Terminus.
