Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category I & II) for training in Baba Atomic Research centre (BARC).

Category–I (As Scientific Assistant /B) :

• Number of Posts : 09 (UR-5,SC-2,ST-2)
• Essential Qualification : Diploma/ Licentiate in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks
• Age Limit : 19-24 years.
• Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200

Category–II (As Technician/ B or C or D) :

• Number of Posts: 22  (UR-11, SC-3, ST-3, OBC-5)
• Essential Qualification : SSC or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Science and Mathematics Plus ITI certificate in Fitter/ Chemical Plant Operation of 2 years duration/ NCVT of 3 years duration.
• Age Limit : 18-22 years
• Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2800, 2400 or 2000.

NOTE: Relaxation of five years in age is admissible to SC/ST and three years to OBC candidates. (more…)

PLANT ENGINEER(Code-PE-01)
Qualification and experience:
-Bachelors/masters degree in mechanical engineering with 5 years design experience in combined  cycle powerplant.
-Experience in engineering,preparations of technical specifications,evaluation of bids,vendor  drawing review,vendor management for combined Cycle systems like HRSG,AUX boiler,fuel gas  treatment,compressor,pumps etc.
-Communicating & negotiating with consortium partners,EPCs and sub-vendors.

INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL ENGINEER(Code-ICE-03)
Qualification and experience:
-Bachelors/masters degree in INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL engineering with 5 years of experience in  engineering or consultancy company that deals with the design,feasibility  studies,bidding,engineering,construction and procurement activities of large combined Cycle &  thermal power plants.
-Communicating & negotiating with consortium partners,EPCs and sub-vendors.
-Knowledge of DCS& PLC,PREPARATION OF IO list/ INSTRUMENt list/logic diagrams.
-Knowledge of control system cabinet design
-Knowledge of various INSTRUMENTATION standards

CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER(CODE-CE-05)
Qualification and experience:
-Bachelors/masters degree in Civil engineering with 5 years of experience in basic &detailed  civil design,drawing of combined Cycle & thermal power plants.
-Knowledge of construction of combined Cycle & thermal power plants & international standards  like ACI/AISC/IBC/BS etc is essential. (more…)
