Qualifications & Experience for faculty positions

Professor
Pay Scale : Rs.18400-500-22400
Essential Qualification : Ph.D., with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years’ teaching/ research/ forestry/ industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor.

Associate Professor
Pay Scale : Rs.16400-450-20000
Essential Qualification : Ph.D., with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 8 years’ teaching/ research/ forestry/ industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor
Pay Scale : Rs.12000-420-18300

iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.
iv. NET qualification in the concerned discipline is essential.

AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING
i. A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering.
ii. A Masters degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.
iv. NET qualification in concerned discipline.

COMPUTER APPLICATION AND SCIENCE
i. A first class Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and
Engineering/Computer Technology/Information Technology/Computer Science followed
by Master’s Degree at least with second class in Computer Application/
