Applications on the prescribed forms are invited from Indian Nationals for appointment to the following posts of
Senior Judicial Translator : 03 posts
Pay : Rs.9300-34800/- Grade pay Rs.4600
Education Qualification: B.A. (Hons.) in English or Hindi or Urdu with Diploma/ Certificate course in translation from Hindi/Urdu to English and vice versa or 3 years experience in translation work from Hindi/urdu to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices / Parliament/ State Legislature Secretariat or Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings/ Supreme Court of India/ high Courts.
Junior Judicial Translator : 08 posts
(UR-3, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1)
Pay : Rs.9300-34800/- Grade pay Rs.4200
Education Qualification : Graduate with English or Hindi or Urdu as one of the language at the degree level and with Diploma/ Certificate course in translation from Hindi/Urdu to English and vice versa or 2 years experience in translation work from Hindi/urdu to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices / Parliament/ State Legislature Secretariat or Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings/ Supreme Court of India/ high Courts.
Age Limit : 18-27 years as on 01/01/09. Age relaxation to SC/ST candidates by 5 years and 3 years to OBC candidates and 10 years to PH candidates.
Process of Selection : Selection by written examination and interview for selected candidates.
How To Apply : Application on prescribed format duly filled in with two recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer alongwith attested copies of relevant testimonials and application fee should be sent by Registered A.D. Post with the words “APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF ….. ” superscribed on the envelope, addressed to the Joint Registrar (Estt.), Delhi High Court, Sher Shah Road, New Delhi-110003
Application Fee : Demand Draft/ Postal order of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of Registrar General, Delhi High Court (No fee shall be payable by the SC/ST/PH Candidates)
